Blues After School is a music education program that provides free instrument and Blues band instruction paired with cultural, historical, and arts related activities and lessons on industry best practices for middle school aged students and up. No prior music experience is necessary. Students choose a primary instrument to study and participate in one-hour group lessons on that instrument once per week followed by one hour of cultural, historical or arts enrichment, September to April. We will meet on four Fridays per month from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The program will provide loan instruments during class time to participating students who do not already have their own. Students who already own an instrument should bring the instrument to class. For more information, please contact the Museum.
