The West Baton Rouge Historical Association is getting ready to host its annual Christmas in July Card Party fundraising event. This year’s party will be Monday, July 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. The party will take place next door to the museum at the Port Allen Community Center. The entry fee is $30, and must be paid by July 8th.
In addition to games, participants can look forward to door prizes, lunch, and even a complimentary morning cocktail. There will also be two opportunities to take part in a group-wide drawing. This fundraiser allows the WBR Historical Association to promote an interest in history, especially that of West Baton Rouge Parish, by encouraging research, collection of materials illustrating past and present activities of the parish, and by presenting programs and exhibitions at the West Baton Rouge Museum.
